He highlights the evidence of genuine salvation—love for God, obedience to His commands, and belief in His Son. Life Group

Scripture: Ezekiel 37

Christ/Gospel Connections:
All of Scripture points back to Jesus. In our study each week, every age group’s lesson includes a note about how the message connects to Christ. Use these Christ/Gospel Connections as a springboard for meaningful discussion about who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

Preschool – Like God made the dry bones come to life, He gives us new life when we trust in Jesus. God will forever be with everyone who believes in Jesus.

Kids – God breathed life into dead bones in front of Ezekiel. The apostle Paul said that we are dead in our sins, but God gives us new life in Him when we trust in Jesus. God will forever be the God of all people who trust in Jesus.

Students – God gave Ezekiel a vision of the power of God to bring life out of death and to restore a broken and scattered people. Ezekiel’s vision was fulfilled ultimately in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus is Immanuel–God with us–the King who gives life and rules over a unified people from every nation, tribe, people, and language (Revelation 7:9).

Adults – Though sin, guilt, and shame may have a hold on us, God’s resurrection power brings renewed life to those who trust in His Son, Jesus, who conquered sin and death through His resurrection.

Discussion Questions:
For Kids
  • How did God show His power in Ezekiel’s vision?
  • What does Jesus do for us when we trust in Him?
  • How can you thank God for giving you new life?

For Students & Adults
  • Where have you experienced God’s restoring power in your life?
  • What areas of “dry bones” need God’s renewal today?
  • How does Jesus’ resurrection give you hope for personal and spiritual revival?

Pray Together

  • Thank God for giving new life and assurance through Jesus.
