Upcoming Events

Below is just a small selection of events and ministry opportunities. To see the full calendar, visit the Events Page.

Fourth of July Schedule

Regular Worship Services

We will hold our normal worship services next Sunday, July 4. Worship with us at 9:30am at the Raytown and Online Campuses and at 11:00am at the Lee’s Summit Campus. Kid City Jr. (nursery) will be open for birth-2 years only during the regular worship service.

No LifeGroups

No LifeGroups will meet at the Raytown or Lee’s Summit Campuses. This includes all groups from birth through senior adults. Please note that Kid City Jr. will only be available for birth-2 years during the regular worship service hour at either campus and will not be available during the Freedom Celebration service.

Freedom Celebration

We are having a special service to celebrate our faith and freedom, featuring patriotic music, a salute to the armed forces, and special guest speaker Carey Casey of Championship Fathering, at 11:00am on Sunday, July 4, at the Raytown Campus. Kid City Jr. will not be available during the 11:00 hour. We encourage families to attend this service together.

Attention Veterans & Active Duty
If you are a veteran or on active duty and can still wear your dress uniform, we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Freedom Celebration. If you are interested in being involved, contact Beth Cox at bethc@connectionpoint.tv or 816-778-1132.

Fourth of July Picnic

We’re having a special picnic lunch for our church and community on Sunday, July 4, at both campuses. We’ll have a hot dog lunch and plenty of interactive family-friendly activities. The picnic will begin following the regular 11:00am worship service at the Lee’s Summit Campus and following the special 11:00am Freedom Celebration service at the Raytown Campus.

Faith & Family Night at the K

Faith & Family Night at the K is back on Saturday, July 17! The Royals take on the Baltimore Orioles at 6:00pm, followed by a concert by Zach Williams and speaker Scott Dawson. Invite your friends and neighbors to an afternoon of baseball, and they will come away knowing more about Jesus. Purchase tickets on your own or through the church.
