Love the Lord

Too often we are obedient to our feelings, rather than obedient to God’s words. Israel was obedient to their hunger, their impatience, their fear. This is what prevented them often from experiencing God’s intended purpose for them. In this final farewell address, Moses is urging the people to listen to and obey God’s words. By listening and obeying God’s words, we will be given instruction for who we are to be and how we are to live because we will be reminded whose we are.
